Lots of good things here - I like the Lewis Hamilton post - you consider lots of different angles to the story, link to and bounce off other coverage online, use visuals and generally write well. The Halo research is good - you could use the links as part of a general post on the subject. I like the review of Who Ate All The Pies too.
Clearly, you know how to use the Blogger platform - for the assessment blog, think about adding more content to the sidebar, using links and visuals and developing a coherent theme. Had a quick look at your music blog, which is really promising - I like the mix of news, reviews, opinion pieces and the way you mix post links... A really good start.
